I’ve been seriously caught up with all the different tasks I had to accomplish for my doll collection and I completely forgot to show you some of my progress.
In that respect, I give you my newest creations – the silver sandals (traditionally called “opinci” here, in Romania). They are of peasant inspiration, originally made of leather, but I chose this noble material to glorify the deities of our amazingly beautiful (and surprisingly rich) mythology, which was created bit by bit through centuries by the simplest, yet the most creative people from our history – the peasants.
